Fleur Panna Cotta
Inspired by the Italian dessert that translates to "cooked cream" this dish brings out the gorgeous color of Fleur spice, along with its intoxicating flavors. If you don't have ramekins, don't fret; serve in stemless wineglasses or small juice cups with fresh berries. Make ahead to allow it to set.
1/3 cup milk
1 envelope unflavored gelatin (.25 oz)
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons Curio Spice Co.'s FLEUR Spice
Berries to garnish, such as raspberries, blueberries & strawberries
Combine the milk and gelatin in a small bowl, stir and set aside.
In a small sauce pan, combine the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat. Whisk to combine the ingredients and let the sugar dissolve. Bring to an active simmer but watch carefully so it doesn't boil over or burn. Add the milk & gelatin mixture and cook for one minute, whisking so it blends completely. Turn off the heat and add the Fleur spice, blending well. Pour into 6 individual ramekins or juice glasses and let cool to room temp. Cover with plastic and place in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
