Vanilla Bean, Uganda
Experience a bolder side of vanilla. Rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, Uganda's celebrated vanilla is known for its high vanillin content and exceptional quality. Sourced from an employee-owned coop of smallholder farmers in Uganda's central and western growing regions, these dark, glossy beans are moist, plump, and intensely fragrant. Their aroma is warm and inviting, with notes of ripe fruit and fig. Use them to infuse custards, ice cream, syrups, cakes, and pastries.

We inspire culinary curiosity by crafting blends and hosting classes and events that celebrate global flavors.
The Spice Lab @ Curio is our culinary education hub, where we host free and ticketed events for our local community.
We strive to make an impact on climate resilience wherever we can; in how we ship, source, and choose our spice partners.
