Harissa is a popular North African spice and condiment used for vegetables, meat, eggs and breads. Ours has a mild-medium heat tempered by sweet rose petals. The spice can be used as a dry rub, or combined with a splash of water, vinegar and olive oil to use as a paste. It brings savory, spicy, complex flavors to any dish.
